Marina del Rey

Marina del Rey is one of the most desirable locations on the West Coast. It is a sophisticated, contemporary community with many dining and shopping options all within minutes of The Lofts on Beach Avenue.

Every conceivable type of watersport is offered in Marina del Rey, including boating, kayaking, windsurfing, sunbathing, swimming, and surfing. Other aquatic options include boat charters, harbor cruises, whale watching, and ocean fishing.

Bike, skate, walk, or run along a 26-mile coastal path that stretches from Malibu at the northern end through the marina and south to Palos Verdes.

You can picnic at Burton Chace Park. Don't miss the free concerts in July and August. There's plenty of room to relax in this spacious 10 acre park, at the foot of Mindanao, where you'll find barbecue grills, sheltered picnic areas, perfect napping spots and spectacular views.

If you want to enjoy the surf and sand, Venice Beach, Santa Monica beach, Playa del Rey and Malibu beach are all close by.

For shoppers, Marina del Rey boasts a wide variety of local boutiques and a select roster of national retailers. Nearby shopping destinations include Venice, Santa Monica and Beverly Hills.
